VII Atlanta Global Health Summit: Health Resilience & Natural Disasters

Just as Puerto Rico reaches its one year post-Hurricane Maria, the seventh edition of the Global Health Summit will focus on the devastating impact that natural disasters have on health: both short and long-term.

How to prepare for the worst?

Even the best risk management cannot prevent natural disasters and the resulting losses. The keyword here is resilience. The speakers will discuss how we can build health resilience within communities to ensure that as many people as possible can recovery quickly from events such as Hurricane Maria.
